Art House is excited to host its Fall event on Wednesday, October 26th at 7pm. As an Art House member, you are invited and your invitation is in the mail!
This night is the PERFECT date night. Book the babysitter, and head to the KMA!
In conjunction with the museum’s Romantic Spirits art exhibit, we are featuring mixolists, Mark and Chris Zerod, who also happen to be husband and wife. (How romantic is that?!?) You may recognize them from their bartending posts at Bistro by the Tracks and DRINK in West Knoxville.
Mark and Chris have created a special concoction, complete with fall apple cider and a spicy syrup. The drink is called the Scarlett Letter (also the title of the popular book, published during the Romantic Period.) Guests in attendance will be lucky enough to take home a sampling of the syrup as well.
Romantic Spirits features 30 works from the 19th century. The paintings present an evocative glimpse into nineteenth-century Southern life, and reveal the importance of oral tradition and “a sense of place” in the development of the Romantic Movement in the South.
So, come enjoy the beautiful art of the Romantic Period. Sip your Scarlett Letter and see where the night takes you! There is no charge for Art House members. This is a closed event just for us!
Again, you’ll be receiving a card in the snail mail, as well as a text message from Art House.
This is what Art House is all about – learning and growing through art (and good cocktails!!!) See you at Romantic Spirits!
