In a somewhat historical event for the Knoxville Museum of Art, a new group of the museum’s membership was birthed.

The invite-only event attracted more than one hundred people to gather and learn more about the new initiative:  Art House.  Most everyone in attendance had been to the museum previously; however, many of them had never truly experienced art through the KMA.  Art House plans to change that through unique, fun and social events where learning through art is the primary focus.

Led by Art House Committee Chair, Courtney Lee, the premier party for Art House yielded more than 70 new museum memberships.  A complete success!!!

Art House Committee Member, Melissa Burleson, in conjunction with her husband, Randy Burleson, donated delicious food and drink.  Event goers had so much fun, people didn’t want to leave.  The excitement in the room was palpable.
